Cacao Fine Chocolates are crafted by multi award winning chocolatiers in our custom built production kitchen in Port Melbourne.

Cacao chocolates are uniquely handmade using traditional French principles with premium Belgian couverture chocolate.

 

Opening its doors in 2003 Cacao has since expanded to now occupy 4 retail shops throughout Melbourne.

 

Cacao has a strong retail and corporate business around Australia including 5 stars hotel, airlines and Bluechip companies……

 

French Master Chocolatier Laurent Meric and Master Chef Patissier Tim Clark head up a team that has delivered Cacao many awards won in prestigious competitions nationally since 2005.

 

Over the last 2 years Cacao won more than 20 prizes.

 

2008: 12 medals in show, 3 Gold, and People’s choice award.

 

2009: 9 Gold medals & Grand Champion award.

 

Cacao owes its success to 3 fundamental factors: firstly the use of the finest Belgium chocolate single origins combined with only the best ingredients from around the world and last but not least, the expertise of Master chefs Laurent Meric and Tim Clark along with the experienced team behind Cacao.

When visiting our stores the first thing you will notice is the beautiful arrangement of fine crafted chocolates displayed as if they were unique jewels to dazzle the eye.

 

A selection of chocolates with over 30 variations of colours, shapes, flavour and texture await you.

Macarons with all the colours of the rainbow are displayed with elegance, the French Macaron is a light almond meringue, sandwiched between lies the most beautiful fillings imaginable, with an extensive range that will impress.

International customers are amazed by Cacao’s quality and widely spoken to be amongst many of the best in the world, matching many a prestigious European Chocolatier.

The Herald Sun, was one of the first to review Cacao St Kilda store and went on to describe it as the Louis Vuitton of chocolates.
